My Dear James
I received your letter yesterday
just after Church & cannot tell
you how very thankful I felt
to hear that you had begun your
Cottage Lectures -- May the great
head of the Church own & bless
you as His -- Should you not
obtain a better would Mr Bailey
not suit you? We shall ex
pect old James according to your
arrangement - I hope to gather
James from Bathurst but it is
not quite settled not having heard
from him since I last wrote -

a stammering tongue & Where
