me at Chrismas if you like, he is a
good rider, as you want some horses
broken in then, we might manage
them. Young Robert Lethridge has
come to school he is a curious chap
always up to some game, he sleeps at
Mrs. King's, I went over with him the other
day to spend the day there. I received
a letter from Eliza about ten minutes

before I got yours, I had to write to her
as I had not written to her since Easter.
I do not know if you have heard that we
got two boats after June, and one of them
is broken already, but Mr. Palmer and
five or six of us go down the river in
the other once or twice a week. I suppose
that I will have to write a few lines to
Fanny some time, as she wrote me a few
I gave Mr. Forest the mony for the Libary
and he was very much pleased with it, I
think he has got a good many books but
I have not seen them yet, I dont think he
will open it till after Chrismas.
