spoiled I believe, also Bootes' and several
others. Tell Fanny that the Kirkham
people called here last Thursday, Mrs
Lesley was so delighted with our flowers.
I think the old place (two words underlined) looks better
than ever it did. I wish Kate
could just see it, I received a letter
from her last Friday, she was all
ready to start for the Native Creek
a very charming name certainly!
George is a very good boy for writing
now, I had to give him two or
three lectures about it when
he was home last time. I shall
be so glad to see him at Christmas

Well! I wonder when I am to get
to see you, I am very much obliged
to you for your kind invitation, (underlined)
but Mrs Gibson does not leave till
Christmas, and then when she
goes I don't know how I can get
up. I suppose you have not
heard that Mrs L. [Sowe?] has a little
daughter. - The consecration of
the Church is put off till the 1 of Nov [November]
so perhaps we shall have the pleasure
of seeing you, at it after all, I
think that only a few bishops will
be there. I should be so glad if Fanny
and you could come down.
