I have before me your
letters of Jan'y [January] 20 and 27th and there
is another which I have mislaid
but which was too kind not
to demand an answer. I
am the worst correspondent
in the world - as you well know -
I will answer your notes
seriatim. If you look in the
Annual Report you will
see that any Subscriptions raised
by District Committees are to
be applied by those Committees
to local [underlined] purposes - we only
ask for any surplus [underlined] you
may have for general
Purposes. I see the
