Dear Thomas
I have now taken the
opportunity of droping [dropping] you a
few lines by My Brother Henry:
and expect in return to hear all
the news of Sydney from
you.

In your last to me you
said you would like to have
a bantam [Bantam] Hen which I shall
give you with pleasure at any
time you want it. The Rabbits
are not doing quite so well as
we could wish but for all that
I shall not despair

Dear Thomas
I Rcvd [received] your letters
with Great Satisfaction, the Inclosed [enclosed]
I have wrote ^to^ Marriah, I have not
Stated it as I did before Madam, but as
you directed me, I expect to come down
Shortly, but cannot tell what time to a
Day or two, the track on Letters of Marrige [marriage]
to a Young Christain's [Christian's] I have, but not
the life of Mr Studley, the Letters on Mar-
rige is very usefull [useful] reading Indeed, those verses
about happy Marriges, and Unhappy ones
are beautiful, I have a Track I will lend you
A Marrige pressent, [present] or account of Sarah and
William, it plesed [pleased] me much, it is the life
I should like to live in this World in hope
to gain the world to come, you will recive [receive]
this Track with this Letter, which when
you have read, Please give to Marriah
to do the Same, as I think you will
Both like it, I have been Disobedient in
not writing -
