My Dear Cousin,
I thought it would be right for me to
send you word that my Mistress was
not angrey at me stoping on the Friday
night a little longer than my time I
was at home by half parst Eight pm
I ran all the way and Mistress said she
wisht I had not hurried for she feared
I should have a fresh Could I dont know
that it was that but I had a fresh one
and was very poorley indeed but my
Master and Mistress [indecipherable] have beeen
very kind more so than I ever new
them and so I think it right to menshen
it and ham thankfull to say that I ham
quit well at this time and hope you
injoy the same great blessing if you can
make it convenient to come some day
this week to Ton I should be glad to see
you and Cousin Susan with you if she
can be spared if you canon come this
weeke come when it will best sute
you it will not make any difference
to me what day nor what time pleas to
give my love to Susan if you see her
