though a second parting may be more bitter than the
first but we must all expect trials & tribulations
in this vale of tears "Happy are we if we mourn
for righteousness sake," and the more happy will
be our union above if we part in the world for
the sake of the Gospel - What has added New Zealand
zeal to my breast is the cordial affection excited
in my heart for Tui & Teterru my companions
I can say "would to God they were like Paul
except his bonds" - I have found much less attention
and love, in those that profess the honored Christian
Name - I could dwell long on the subject but not
having finally settled my mind wait the will of
God trusting he will open to me the way I should
go and give me his Blesssing and an abundant utterance so that it tend
to his glory - Ruth chose Naomi's "People to be her people"
and Naomi's "God to be her God" I trust this may be my
desire and the earnest desire of my young friend at
NSW (Par^a in Particular) for if this be the case though
