I am forgetting that, I sat down to thank you, for your kindness in going to Goulburn.
I find from your Passed letter that you have sold poor Charlie's home
I am quite satisfied it should be so, as you [indecipherable] it back, and so it was under the circumstances, a few days before the [indecipherable] accident I received a blank cheque from him, to fill in as I thought proper, to pay his Sydney debts and what any little amounts if I required

it for myself as I had not quite final[ised] his business for him it still remains a blank, I dare say the [indecipherable] Bank will honor it when followed up, to pay his debts with they could see the bills if necessary,
there will also be three weeks pay, from the "Church Society" altogether I think the amounts will meet every expense, with out selling his books, there are a good
