My Dear friend & Brother in Jesus Madeley 22 Sep. 1818

I duly received your very interesting letter
of the D, Instant for which you have my best thanks. A Tear
glistened in the Eye of one of the Newzealanders when I read part of it to
them. May God Almighty bless thee and keep thee in all thy ways,
and let the light of His Countenance shine upon thee, and do thee good!
and make thee a burning and a shining light is the benediction of
one who loves thee, because thou art a lover of the Lord Jesus.

The time of our departures from this lovely peaceful Village, and from
that "precious stone set in the Silver Sea "England is the Land - I
apprize you there of in order that you may get your Letters &
ready. - I will give you the exact words of Mr Hassalls summary
that you may judge for yourself. " - I write in Haste to
say that we have learned that Government have engaged the
Hibernian to carry convicts to N S Wales - she is likely to be
ready by the 28: but I think we may Conclude that she
will allow a considerable longer time - we have made app-
lication to Government for passages for you & our two friends.

You will therefore make every arrangement to come to
London at a Days notice; and whatever you have to come to Town
order it to be sent better without delay"
Yours Etc J Pratt
Tovi & Teeterree are gone with Mr. & Mrs Bicknell to Shrewsbury
from whence they will proceed to London but having a few places to
stop at, it will probably be this day week one they arrive - I
shall start alone, if the Lord will, on Thursday Morning and get to
Town the Day following the 25th. - I am about to leave this
