My dear Sir
As I have not time to write
to you so fully as i could wish, and
the duties of this week (Monday & tuesday bussiest days & Friday including the
possibility of my seeing you as I wished
before you leave us, I have sent you
my son's Letter open under the impression
that it may afford you some encouragement.
By this you will at least see
my wish to serve you. I have only
to request you will put a wafer
in it as soon as you have read it
to prevent others from seeing its
contents. I shall long to hear
of your arrival in Engd - - You must
my dear friend expect to meet with
