Gospel & pray that its blessed influences may
be showered upon me - Pray for me my dear
Sir I am in the midst of dangers sit arround
with temptation & snares in the midst of a
crooked & perverse people - I received your very
kind letter by Revd Ormond before I left Parramatta with the
May [indecipherable] and the salatory advice gave me exceeding joy
& grief when I reflected how fully I carried into
practice those great duties therein specified -

learn the way of the Lord and proclaim his
Salvation has led me to leave my Fathers house and
brave the mighty Ocean - I am coming with
trembling [indecipherable] knowing my own ignorance & unworthy.

make me perfect in [indecipherable] and prepare me
for all his [indecipherable] - I know he can raise up
weak things of this world to confound the mighty
