to any of the Missionaries thinking that they must have left the colony before this can possibly arrive if they ever leave it at all, I earnestly hope to see the Mission reestablished and I know of no reason on the part of the Natives why it should not, and the cause of failure of excess at present I think will be found to be in ourselves and our employers and no where else. --

     The Vessel is now under weigh and I must close this, the cask of pork is a Tierce marked H
Send one also 6 files, 1 cross cut saw file 2 pit Saws & 3 hand saw files. Do not fail writing
