annuity of rent charge of one hundred pounds per annum to be paid and payable therefore and thereout unto my said dearly beloved wife for and during her natural life by even half yearly payments in every first day of Jany. and first day of July during her life and upon her death the said rent charge on annuity to cease and be determined. And whereas I promised my son Jonathan so-much-of to give him a sum of two hundred pounds to assist him in the cultivation of his farm I will devise and bequeath unto my said son Jonathan, so much of the said sum of two hundred pounds as shall happen not to have been paid to him in cash or value, at the time of my disease to be paid in half yearly payments of fifty pounds out of my personal estate over and above my said son Jonathan's share and proportion of my personal estate devised to him before in this my will and I will direct and appoint all divisions of my real and personal estates to be made in pursuance of this my will and-I-will-and-direct shall in case of any difference be made by my dearly beloved wife and my Executor Edward Eagar, hereafter named who shall divide the same fairly and equitably according by to the true intent and meaning of this my will and which division shall be conclusive on all parties, and I do hereby nominate Institute and appoint my dearly beloved wife executrix and my sons Thoman Hassall and Samuel Otoo Hassall and my Friend Edward Eagar of Sydney, Merchant executors to this my will and I appoint and Institute my dearly beloved wife guardian to my younger children and as I wish and recommend all my younger children to live with their mother my dear wife until-they-shall-be-settled-in-life-as-in-their-discretion-they-shall-think-fit-and

The foregoing paper writing was on this Twenty-eighth day of August, 1820, signed, sealed, published and declared by Rowland Hassall of Parramatta Gentleman as for his last will and Testament in writing in our presence who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto

[indecipherable] [in the district of Cook?] [indecipherable] & will devise & bequeath unto my fourth & youngest son James all that farm of land called [indecipherable] Farm containing 300 acres all that farm called [indecipherable] farm containing 100 acres all that farm called [James Black?] [crossed out] [savege's?] farm containing 40 acres & all that farm called George [Correns?] farm containing 60 acres all situate in the district of Cook afforesaid of the his Heirs. I will devise, & bequeath, to my eldest daughter Mary Cover Lawrie wife of the Rev'd Mr Lawrie, & to her heirs, all that Farm of Land called Kerbey corner containing 100 acres, & all that farm of Land called Hoom Farm, containing 100 acres of [crossed out] Land both situate in the district of [indecipherable] I will devise & bequeath unto my second daughter Eliza all that Farm of Land called Coventry, containing 200 acres & all that Farm of Land called [Dundass?] Farm containing 40 acres, both situate in the district of Bringellie & to her heirs I will devise & bequeath, unto my very Dearly beloved wife Elizabeth the [Hassall?] all my dwelling house at Parramatta, wherein I now reside, with the garden [indecipherable], [yard/garth?] buildings, premises, & paddocks, now [appertment?] thereto & every part thereof to Hold dring the term of her natural life & from & immediately after her desease, I will devise & bequeath my said dwelling house, premisesm garden, & Orchard, unto my said eldest son Thomas & his Heirs. I will devise & bequeath, all that farm of Land called [Burken?] Park, containing 120 acres, all that Farm of Land containing 70 acres, granted to myself called [Hassall?] farm, all that farm of Land called [Bolgevis?] farm containing 95 acres, & all that farm of Land called [David?] Farm containing [?] acres which farm last mentioned farm are situate in the district of Parramatta unto my said dearly beloved wife during the term of
