In April last In april last write to
inform you of your husbands decease on board
the brig Kangaroo from Botany Bay Port Jackson
He was taken ill soon after we left and
departed this life on the 24 Dec^r 181 Prior
to his death he deposited £31.7.0 in my
hands wishing me to forward the same to
you & your family should any thing hap-
pen during the voyage - I paid 11/ for necessarys
at his death which leaves a balance due
you of £30.17.0. This sum I have paid
Walker Esq^r who has been kind enough
to give an order at the bottom of this letter
on his Agent in dublin where you can
send & receive the money upon producing
this letter with the said order -
