My dear William,

You will receive by this opportunity
a Cask of China, ordered by Elizabeth, and two
Cases of Goods & Haberdashery, from Mrs. Hains.
James has just discovered, in looking over the
Bill, that there are no Dinner Plates. I know
nothing more about it, than that I sent the
original order. The only directions from me were
to have the ware packed in a new Cask, which I
hope, you will find acceptable –

James and myself met, at Mr Hart Davis's, at
Dinner a Gentleman who had seen your Plants
at Loddiges looking as green as when they
were put into the Cases at Camden. I think
