My dear James
I am much disap
-pointed at having received no
Letters from you by the Lady
Raffles. Our dear Mother wrote
to me on the 12th October by
this Ship, and I was rejoiced to
learn that excepting dear Mary
you were all well. But I again
repeat my disappointment was
and is extreme not to have one
Line from you, either in relation
to my own Affairs, or to those
of Bowman. You should have

exclusive right are conducted upon the Principles
of an Agency.
