My dear MacArthur,

I send herewith the copy
of your account between you and me,
by which it appears that you are in
my debt £84 ... Stg. As for the
£345 paid by me into the London Bank
-ing house on your Account I can show
you the receipt when you please; and
I hear from Laurentz Campbell
that you have received the Bounty
money from the Colonial Treasury.
