and everything went off well. Subsequently
the Summit House party which was
shortened for a few days, on account
of the death of the Duchess of Kent came
off & none ever gave greater satisfaction.

Sir John & Lady Young were very affable
and appear well fitted for the high
position they occuply. I am quiet
worried that the [indecipherable] closing.

I was at Camden on Monday last
& was disappointed at finding Sir
