Charles Cowper does not think of coming forward unless friends will agitate or canvass well for him for without activity there is nothing to be effected in electioneering. He therefore thinks it very unlikely he shall be put in nomination for any place.

Granting that the Irish influence is likely to be predominant in the County of Camden about which he is by no means clear he thinks it would be right as well as polite to support Mr. Roger Therry obtaining the influence of his friends in return for some other place - but he

The family at Wivenhoe are all better but Mr. R is in just doubt about the recovery of the young at Child. The two others are convalescent. About poor
