My dear James

One last line.
We are outside, steering close
along the coast of Cornwall
with the wind nearly north, light
and the sea smooth tolerably fine overhead. The
ship is hardly yet under all
plain sail but I should
think making 6 or 7 knots.
They expect to [be] beyond Scilly
by midnight. I slept very
comfortably but had a bad
head late last evening - just
sufft. of Blue Pill & Salts have
however numbed [?] matters & I am
