We are in receipt of your esteemed favors of 12 & 21st Feby covering B/Lading [Bill of Lading] of 4 wardian & one close case of plants and 8 cases wine , all of which on arrival of the "Paramatta" shall have our best attention and be distributed in strict accordance with your directions, and we will make arrangements with the various parties as to the return of the Cases with plants

It is very difficult indeed to get Captains to carry wardian Cases of plants under 2 Guineas each and sometimes even they demand three Guineas. –
