Dear Sir William,

Referring to the enclosed
duplicate of our respects of 3rd instant, we have now
to report the arrival of the "Nemesis" Str [Steamer] of the 9th

The three Cases of Plants by her were duly despatched
to their destinations. – Dr Hooker & M. [Monsieur] Decaisne
have reimbursed us the amount of our disbursements
on the two Cases forwarded them – and Mr Stevens
not having remitted us on account of the Case sent
him we now enclose note of same:–

£1.12.4 - which amount we place to your debit.

We likewise have the pleasure to hand you
Bill of Lading for
AC 35 Cases Burgundy received from
Marey & Liger Belair, Nuits [Nuits St George], – shipped to your
consignment pr "Harlaw", Captain Stephens. – The
amount of our disbursements or same:–

£2.16.3 as per note herewith, we also place to
your debit. – This vessel sailed from the Downs on
17th inst
