Fancy William with a beard!
I had not heard of that addition
it must strangely alter his
appearance! – The Wynyards
are still away – their son has
returned from Canada – but
I have not seen him yet –
Charlie Wickham came up yest [yesterday]
he is in the midst of his
Examination and said he felt
so stupified he thought such
a change would refresh him,
he will not know the result
for a week longer but he is
very sanguine – & so far has
been over-rated – his position
he is coming to stay a while
with me when his Exam: is
over –
