There were some panic gossips at Bmouth
and I fully expected that reports were
being sent to Australia – If there had
been any thing to tell – it would have been
told first hand as a matter of course
They are all very well – and will feel
Arthurs going very much – he goes by
this steamer and will have a terribly hot
voyage. I have only seen him twice – he
has been very busy and of course living
near Reading he has not had time
for visiting – a very hurried run home
How nice it is for you to have good
reports of your dear lads. I suspect
you will have Jack out for a run?
I want to write to dear Libby and so
you will forgive a short letter. I would
give something to fly over & see you all
I send my kindest love and I hope
the note wh Miss Best said you were
going to write will arrive – but I know
well – how your pen must work dear
Be sure these days – I think of you
You were my God send last year
I wonder how I struggled along all
