30° -38° Tremendously wet & sloppy. Heard J. L. Jones at 11a.m. at Lincoln Centre. Luncheon at Henricki's on Van Buren. League meeting at 3.p.m. Came home & went to bed

Monday 13

39° 31° Practised & typed letters all day. Invaded by Fraulein Griesbach & her old German ideas of life.

Tuesday 14

33-28 Typed Love Machine & practised in morning. After lunch went to office. In evening went to Political E.U. party at Hull Hse. Took Mrs Norse

Wed. Dec. 15, 1909

Went to Mrs. R. in morning. In afternoon went to Art gallery & Called on Mr [Forsman? Foreman?] in Fine Arts Bldg. Went to office & had afternoon tea with Miss Henry.

Thurday 16

34°-8° Went with Miss Henry to Lunch at Lincoln Centre & take Australian poetry to Mr Jones. Miss White called in evening & confessed she was Mrs [Mrs underlined] White. Miss H & I called on Berry the printer

Friday 17

34°-6° Miss Henry called in morning. Came back again for dinner so I didn't get much done. Very cold in my room.

Sat. Dec. 18, 1909

11°-1 below Cold! Cold! Went to Mrs Robins till afternoon. Took a letter to Miss Sprague. Executive board meeting at night.

Sunday 19

13°-2° Went to Lloyds at Winnetka. Miss Henry joined me at Ravenswood Stn. Mrs & Mr Haag dined there too. Dr & Will Lloyd came home in afternoon just as we were leaving.

Monday 20

Went to office after lunch. Saw Dr Rhodes he weighed me - 116½ lbs.

11°-18 Went to Mrs Robins [in?] forenoon thence to office

Wednesday 22

26° 12° Went to office & helped Miss Steghagen. Bought some presents for Mrs Robins. Miss Storch & I went in evening to meeting of unemployed at 763 W. Van Buren St.

Thursday 23

Went to Journeymen Striking Tailors meeting at 12 So-Clark St. Then Olive & I took preserves to Mrs Post at 3220 N. Halsted St.

Fri. Dec. 24, 1909

Went to office & thence to take present to Olive & Dr Young. Miss H. & I had afternoon tea at Lunch Club on Van Buren. Snowing & warm. Very tired.

Saturday 25

31° 27° - Dinner at Indiana Hse at one. At 5.p.m at 202 E. Superior St. with Miss Phelps Miss H. & Miss Pease. Warm and much nice snow.

Sunday 26

Worked at Indiana House. In the evening took Lulu Fitch & Clara Schirmer To T.U.L. Concert in Seward Pk. Walter Spry & Miss Listermann the artists - snowing.
