SAT. JAN 1, 1910 Miss H. & I dined with the Newshams. I came home to supper. Then Mr Dresden took Miss Phelps, Miss H. & I to see the "Fourth Estate" at the Grand Opera Hse.

SUNDAY 2 Mr Dresden Miss P. Miss H. & I supped at the "Roma" & then went to the concert in West-Pk. no. [1?]. It was a very poor affair.

MONDAY 3 25°-7° In office. Went out to lunch with Miss Steghagen.

TUES. JAN. 4, 1910 18º-1º Went to office after luncheon & sent out ballots & cards for "Annual Meeting". Went to Fraülein Griesbach's room in evening - She was very excited

WEDNESDAY 5 Went to Miss Stout & to office. Went out to lunch with Miss Steghagen. Came home & went to bed during afternoon.

THURSDAY 6 8º- 4 below. Stayed in bed all day-just went down for meals Plagued & tormented by Fraülein Griesbach. Mrs. Nourse played on my piano after dinner.

FRI. JAN. 7,1910 18º- 5 below: Went to office meeting in office at 11 a.m. Came home & went to bed. Completely exhausted with the cold & depressed.

SATURDAY 8 18º-31º Worked at home in morning. Went to office in afternoon.

SUNDAY 9 Stayed in bed till dinner time. Went to "Annual" meeting of the league. Supper with Miss H. at Henricki's. Thence to concert in Seward Park.

MON. JAN. 10, 1910 Stayed at 12 E. Indiana St. all day. Read proofs of proceedings

TUESDAY 11 Worked at 12 E. Indiana In evening went to meeting of P. Equality Union at 275 La Salle

WEDNESDAY 12 Sloppy beyond description Went to office at 10 a.m Lunched at 1437 W. Ohio with Olive & Mrs Robins. Back to office to read proofs with Miss H. Dinner at lunch club. After called on Virginia Taylor at Y.W.C.A.

THURS. JAN. 13, 1910 34º 31º Went to office after lunch. Olive & I went to "Ladies Tailors" at 12 So Clark St. I also called at the bank & got some money. Warm & sloppy.

FRIDAY 14 32º-28º At home all day. Weak & exhausted. Attended Stenographers' meeting at 40 E. Randolph St. after supper. Elected on the Executive Committee.

SATURDAY 15 Stayed at home all day. Slept in afternoon. Weak & exhausted. Attended League Ex. Bd. meeting in evening at 275 La Salle.
