Tues July 4th Still cold but comfortable in winter woollens & furs & steamer rug. Read Rhoda Fleming

Wed July 5th Getting warmer ship rolling very much had breakfast in bed but got up after.

Thurs Jul 6th [date underlined] In afternoon sailed by poor old Ireland & Belfast Saw Scotland, I. of Mann at dusk - very beautiful but bleak & lonely. Got in at 1 or 2.

Fri. Jul. 7th Landed & went thru the customs at 8 & with Miss Fitzgerald's party to Chester & saw Cathedral - after to Leamington. Very tired & had to go & hunt rooms Went to bed at 7 1st night in England very warm

Sat. July 8th Drove to Stratford on Ave & back via Kenilworth & Warwick. Can never have such another lovely day. Got home very tired.

Sun July 9th Left Leamington for Oxford where we dropped Miss F's party & went to Girls F. Society in Charge of Miss Counsell. I slept during afternoon & went to church in evening.

Mon July 10 Did colleges & Ch. Ch. Cath & Art Museum etc. & Left for London arrving at 9. p.m at 22 Upper Woburn Pl.

Tues July 11 Went down town on top of Bus to Am. Ex. Co. Also did some shopping
