Aug 13 Sun. Stayed in my room till dinner. After tea ['M. Valticko & I went' crossed out] went to see Mrs Fawkner at Teddington. Violet Chomley also there

Mon Aug 14 In morning went to Mechlenburg Sq. & n.paper offices after papers. After tea. M. Valticos & I went to Greenwich & back by river

Tues Aug 15 trs[transpose] 2 [circle around '2'] Mrs Worthington called & took me to Natl. Portrait Gallery [line drawn around previous sentence and down to beginning of Wed Aug 16 entry] Slept in afternoon. After tea went to newspaper off. for more photos. After dinner went to "Chocolate Soldier" with Valticos & Miss Kolstrom

Wed Aug 16 Tues morn. went around after papers & wrote to Miss Henry. [line drawn around previous sentence and up to previous diary entry] 1 trs[transpose] In afternoon rested & at night Editha returned & we went to Café Marguerite in Oxford St & got some supper.

Thurs Aug 17 In morning went to [T?] U. League thence to Bermondsey to see strikers. In late afternoon went to see about ticket & to bed early exhausted

Fri. Aug 18 In morning went shopping. Luncheon at Austral Club with Mrs Maquay. Went around Buckingham Pal. etc. Tea at A.B.C.

Sat Aug 19 Both utterly exhausted sat in garden & ate [worms?] At night went with Miss Kolstrom & Miss Ward to see the Quaker Girl at the Adelphi - Rained before dinner.

Sun Aug ['19' overwritten by] 20 Slept till 10 in morning. Slept after dinner. In evening went to hear Rev. R.J. Campbell in City Temple & saw him afterwards.

Mon Aug 21 In morning went to Suffrage Shop & Freedom League. Afternoon tea to Miss Ward, Bondfield & Harrison at Fuller's & attended Working girls' meeting at City Road.

Tues Aug 22 Slept late then went round with Mrs Worthington. Afternoon went to "The Vote" to be interviewed Dinner at Mrs Dryhurst's.
