Frid Aug 25 Pottered in morning in afternoon afternoon tea at Criterion to Misses Moore & Murphy & Mrs Dryhurst. Afterwards went with Mrs Dryhurst to White City & had good time with Maoris.

Sat Aug 26 Went shopping with Editha. British Museum after tea. Too exhausted to go out after dinner

Sun Aug 27 Morning to Hyde Pk to meet Mrs C. Sanderson thence to Mrs Dryhursts' to meet Maoris & back to dinner. Afternoon tea at Mrs C. Sandersons then saw Trafalgar Sq. meetings & St. Pauls

Mon Aug 28 Went to Bank in morning - packed & did odds & ends Wrote to Mother & Norman. Sent him £14

Tues Aug 29

Left Euston Stn. at 9.30 a.m. arr. Liverpool 1.30. Frightfully windy did not know where to go. Walked round & got little lunch. Sailed on Empress Britain at 4.30

Wed Aug 30

Bad weather. Ship rolling terribly Very ill & in pain. Editha sick too
