Got down at 10. Went to bank
& ran around. Got a letter from Lola
saying D. was coming & to come out & see
him on Tues. night. James Mullenbach
& Mr Mills called. Dictated letter
to Board. Got home at 6 &
worked on Net of C. Took veranel
& a bath went to bed

Tuesday 5
Lola rang up to say D. was delayed to
come on Wed. night instead. Jim Mullenbach
called & took Miss H. Miss G &
me to dinner at Foster's. Then Miss
G. & I went to hear Mrs F. Kelly at Civics
& Philanthropy.

Wednesday 6
Wonderful warm day. Got a telegram
from D. saying he was coming. Went
to Winnetka on 5.28 & stayed all
night. Anne W.D. & Jack there. We
had a pleasant evening. Lola & Anne
& I had a walk after the boys left.
Ethel, Miss H & I took Mrs Ickes to
lunch at Delvies.
