Wm B. called in morning & invited me to festival x.
Very warm day. Went to other office for meeting about pupils. Jack Lloyd took Wm B & I home at 5. Wm B & I went to Evanston Mus. festival in little Ford machine . xxx Got home at 11. Went to bed. Very warm night. xxxxxx Mr Mullenbach & Mr Martin called
Tuesday 26
Jack brought us in. Ethel Copeland also. Very hot day. Ethel M returned. Lunch & Dinner at Hearth alone & walked home. Very exhausted.
Wednesday 27
Nice breeze. Went to P.O & bank. Mrs Pischel Senr. called. Got off odds & ends. Feeling very weak - no strength at all. Pouring when I went to bed. Lunch & dinner alone at Hearth & walked home. Had a sleep & then a good vocal practice.
