Sun. 10
Got up at 10 & worked had to go to office for typewriter as mine was no good. Went to League meeting at 4. Walked home with Editha & had dinner at L. Pkway. Came home & chored.

Mon. 11
Got down at 10. Lunch at Hearth alone.
Mrs Ickes and Mrs Bullock came in.
Dinner at Hearth with Editha went to Crerar Library & then walked home together. Mr Broad came & settled our acct.

Tues. 12
Lunch with Ethel at Hearth. Wm B. made a call during the afternoon. Dinner at Hearth alone & walked home.
Finished typing last chapter of Red Cross Nurse for agent.
Wonderfully warm weather.

Wed. 13
Lunch at Hearth with Ethel. Made up Fall Dummy.
Wm B. made a long call in the afternoon & told me what a joy life was and talked around his [continued on next page]
