walked home, rested an hour
& went to gym. pretty well
considering. made some cocoa
& went to bed.

Thurs. 11
Pretty poorly. Pottered around
to Miss Mellon etc. Dinner
with Rose S. & Editha at Eat Shop
on Lake & State & walked home
& tippled to bed in pain. Young
brutes next door noisy & clumsy.

Fri. 12
Ethel came in in afternoon.
Miss H. & I went to court to testify
for Waitresses but weren't called.
Singing lesson at 1.30. Miss
Ryan called. Dinner at
Hearth & walked home & started
to type Sybyl stories. Lovely weather.

Sat. 13
Got down early worked all
day. Lunch at Ursula with E. Pischel & R. Schneidermann.
Dinner at Hearth with E Phelps
& Miss G. Walked home &
mended red skirt.
