Cold.Stayed in room all day. At
8 o'clock Emma & Fred called
& took Editha & [letter crossed out] I to Midway gardens
to see Pavlova dance. Mrs Brownlow
& her daughter also there. Got home at 12
Mon. 19
Got down at 10 and pottered
around all day. Ethel & I had lunch
at Hearth. Dinner there alone &
walked home. Cold day. Very
tired as usual
Tues. 20
Cool day. Lunch with Miss
G. at Harmony Cafeteria. Mrs R.
came in during afternoon.
Dinner alone at Hearth &
walked home. Made up July
dummy. Walked home
practised & to bed.
Wed. 21
Warmer. Went to Saul's at
9 & got thru by 2 p.m. Lucas, a new
man on the job. Lunch at Eat
Shop on Wabash. Back to office.
Dinner with Editha at
