Miserable day in office.
Smelly hole. Miss G
did not come till late. Miss
O N. Miss Murray Miss G &
I had dinner at Skylite & went
to stenographer's meeting then to see
Illington in "The Lie" at Cort.

Sat. 14
Miserable day because Miss
G. was leaving. We had tea
at Hillman's. Lunch at
Hearth. Fred came at 8 & we
went driving till 12. Don't
know whether he is knave or fool.
