Slept late & wasted time & went to Miss Champions for tea & supper. Geraldine & Aileen there.
Mon. 22
Went to bank for Mrs Ussher & to Kensington then had lunch in Hammersmith & went to Deptford to see the McMillans. They invited me to take up residence. Nell & I had late supper in my room.
Tues. 23
Slept late & went to the McMillans in time for tea. Talked with the girls & went to bed early in Evelyn home ready for the fray.
Wed. 24
Rose at 7.15 & went to 232 Church St for breakfast & then to the babies in shed. Very surprised that I did not die of the cold. At 12 went to [continued on next page]
