We went in Underground & then
taxi to Cheyne walk. Dear
little touches of welcome.
Talked & went to bed late.
Fine in Newport. Sloppy in London

Went down Fulham Rd. look-
-ing for furniture in morning.
Afternoon at Harrod's.
Nell came in evening
bringing cocoanut [coconut] & dates
& we all sat up late.
