SAT. JAN. 1 1916 Went to camp in morning Lunch with Annie B. Champion also present Lady Duff & Mrs Balfour. Miss C & I tried to get into a theatre but all full so went to her club. From thence to call on Nell Malone & sister Fowler home about ten.

SUN. JAN. 2 1916 In afternoon went with the Miss Mc's to hear John Hodge M.P. just back from France & had tea with the Steads at at Browning Settlement

MON. JAN. 3 1916 Baby camp routine in morning. Slept 4 hours with exhaustion in afternoon

TUES. JAN. 4 1916 Camp routine in morning. Went to town in afternoon to get tickets & then went with P. Meggitt to hear B. Harraden at London University. Home exhausted

WED. JAN. 5 1916 Stayed in bed exhausted in morning & worked at camp in afternoon

THUR. JAN. 6 1916 Baby camp in morning. Slept in afternoon entirely exhausted Couldn't stand the cold
