Pouring morning.
I did a few of the chores & went to town to do various messages including leaving Norman's half of rent at Permanent Trustee Co.
Met both Colin Roderick & Cam Morrisby on the St.
Then caught Clovelly train to Marie McNiven in time for lunch at 1p.m.
After which she worked on my portrait.
Her husband came in for tea at 4.20.
I left after 5 got home in rain at 7.15.
May B. rang up to say Will Bridle is dead, & [Tops?] had given Leslie a typewriter for Xmas & he can use it splendidly already.
Rained on way home & through evening.
