Thursday 11

Cold day - cloudy - a few showers.
Got nothing done.
First Ruby Brydon called - then Delys Cross after which at 11.30 I went to butcher & green grocer & cooked a meal.
Then I had to go to Porters for a tea party to Mrs Fogden, Mary took her 3 Porter girls Mdmes, Cuvall, Wright, Maddams, Morgan, Coates, Smith Chadwick & self.
After that read Hy [Henry] James.
Mary Booth rang up in evening about Mrs Lister, Nancy's sister whom I met at Iona in 1927
