Thursday 25

Cold day again.
Just as I was starting my literary work Pixie telephoned for nearly an hour & then Ruby Brydon arrived very kindly to do the front beds of the garden.
So I cleaned out my room & got lunch.
Afterwards R. did the side beds so I went out and cut the edges of the front verge.
By then it was 3 p.m & I so exhausted that I lay down & slept till nearly 5.
Had to rig something for Marion Goggin's birthday & the day was gone & I still exhausted.
