Saturday 6

Fine day.
Did some house cleaning, but was extremely fatigued & cough overtook me.
Arthur came to cut down some of the limbs in front and I was superintending when Dal drove up to read me Les Haylen's defence of Aus. C.L.F. in Hansard, & stayed an hour.
Did a few odds and ends.
Wrote to J.K.M. to bed by midnight.

Arthur came to cut down some of the limbs in front and I was superintending when Dal drove up to read me Les Haylen's Defence of Aus[?]. C.L.F. in Hansard, & stayed an hour. Did a few odds and ends. Wrote to [Indecipherable] to bed by midnight.
