Arthur came to cut down some of the limbs in front and I was superintending when Dal drove up to read me Les Haylen's Defence of Aus[?]. C.L.F. in Hansard, & stayed an hour. Did a few odds and ends. Wrote to [Indecipherable] to bed by midnight. Fine day. Did some house cleaning but was extremely fatigued + cough overtook me. Arthur came to cut down some of the limbs in front and I was superintending when [Dae] drove up to read me Jos [Haylen's] defence of Gus C.L.F in Han-sard, + stayed an hour. Did a few odds and ends.
