10266632284September 1952 Monday 8 Fine mild day. | 10266632284September 1952 Monday 8 Fine mild day. Rose at 8 & got breakfast for Nell J. Then did a few chores & cooked her a good lunch by noon. She wanted to go early morning - she said - but at 2.15 I speeded her going. Poor little thing she is so fluttering and restless she left me utterly exhausted. Lay down till 4. Looked at garden - too weak to tackle it. Tried lighter tasks & at 6 chopped branches in front & burned off the leaves etc. Lena rang up to say she is moving. I went to bed depressed & the use going out of my arms - no firm ground anywhere. Fine mild day. Rose at 8 & got breakfast for Nell J. then did a few chores & cooked her a good lunch by noon.
