September 1952

Monday 29

Fine day.
Threatened rain from a thunder storm at 4.30 but went by.
Hung out & dried a lot of starched laundry.

Saw in paper that Mrs A. Williamson (80) & Hilda Dale's husband (68) were dead.
Mrs Bennetts brought me some of her vegetable soup which I loathe.
Margaret Trist telephoned about Wed. night.
