Cold grey day collapsing into showers in the afternoon. I put on the radiator & Dal came about 4 with a gift of carbon sheets & I gave him coffee & Jean's MSS to take to A.& R. (BD). Delys came in before he left. Then Arthur & I lit the fire. Arthur brought much food & cake. In return, I gave him some butter, my big quince and lemons. They left before 9 & I had a big wash-up.
