Warm day with soft showers. I tried to finish essay. Del & Arthur came at 6 with a chook & lettuce & we had a meal & Del & I went through the 3 chaps she had taken to look for literals or lack of clarity. They went at 9.30 & I washed up. Jean D's letter came telling of refusal of her autobiography & containing a plea for help. The irritation in my heel still comes. Took Mrs Morgan some of the food.
