Dark twilight day but streets
dry. Chilblains torture.
Mr Davidhar [Devidhar] there from Poonah
& Bombay. In a constant state
of misery & irritation.

24 Fri
Dark foggy
day - deep dirty twilight but streets
dry. Went & had dinner with Ethel
at Dysart. Home & fnd. Nelson there.
No rest till late hour owing to chilblains.

25 Sat
Morning clear & frosty but grey day.
Nevertheless, Went to R.O. Hsg. Conf. in
Fine Arts with Mr. A. Lunch on Strand
& home about 4. Fire went out
Miserable & caught a chill.
Ethel sick in bed. Took up her
tea & supper. A. A. left for Ealing
thank heaven so I put on some
fuel.
