to office did a chore & had tea
& went home @ 6.40.

Went to Hsg. Conference at
Society of Arts for a little while &
back to office. Home rather early
but no hope of rest.

Fine day. Worked
in office in morning. In afternoon
Oscar Rossitter took me to see
Matheson Lang in "Purple Mask" at
Scala. We essayed afternoon tea
at Shearns & Oyster Dine & I returned
to office. Thank God ["Thank God" underlined] had a
couple of hours to
myself
