A spring day. Went & worked in
Fred's room
The sweet dear wasted an hour but
it was heavenly to be alone. Went to Mrs French
for supper. Coughed a lot in night.

3 Mon
Started fine but came on to
drizzle. Got home very miserable.
Tom Smith came from Salonique
after I was in bed.

4 Tues
Wet & foggy morning.
Met my sweet Fred at Oxford Circus in
the rain dined at Blenheim & then
at Lyons on Piccadilly, Shaftesbury Ave.
Both cross but cheered up. Home
at 11.30

5 Wed
Dense fog & rain
too. Dark as night. Pottered around
on errands in rain & slush.
Cross & tired no hope of privacy
