Didn't rain
but soon got grey. Went
to B.M. to correct "Sam"
at 2 o'clock returning to
office before 5. Minerva for
lunch.

Wet dark day. Went to B. M
at 10. Lunch at Minerva & back
to B.M. until 4.30. Thence to
office & with Mrs Aldridge to see
Burnhams on Guildford St at 8.45
[Printed:] 8 Sat
Worked in office till six.
Went home & found Mr
Westbrook there. Pottered and went
to bed at 11. Dull day
